Han sido muchos días cargados de moda... y si no vieron los Grammy's anoche, pues... ¿qué te diré?

Aunque un evento así es algo edgy y se trata de hacer lo radical y acentuar cuerpazos, porsupollo que Queen B todo lo hizo bien (a excepción de ese pelo de perrito remojado). Han salido muchas listas de las mejores vestidas, y honestamente ni Taylor Swift, ni Katy Perry se me hicieron tan cool como la prensa lo dice.

Peeeeeeeero me llegó el día de decir lo impensable: Paris Hilton, OMFG ! Por fin vimos a una heredera, caray!

Lately, it's been a week full of fashion, and if you didn't watched the Grammy's, well... what ca I say?

This kind of event it's all about the edgy clothes and pushing boundaries, and of course, Queen B nailed it (putting aside her hair). Today I've seen a ton of best dressed articles, and honestly, is not Taylor Swift nor Katy Perry.

But, today's the day that I never saw it coming. Paris Hilton: OMFG. Finally, true royalty!

No voy a decir que Paris fue la mejor vestida, por que la verdad es que yo quedé enamorada de todo el look de Bonnie McKee. Gorgeous dress!!!! Y contrario a lo que uno pensaría, el cabello funcionó perfectamente bien. Flawless. Para mi fue la mejors.

I won't say that Paris was the best dressed, 'cuz the truth is, Bonnie McKee had the most gorgeous dress!!! Strange enough, it worked perfectly with her hair. Flawless. She was my #1.

Andy Fuckin' Warhol. La instalación de globos del padre del Pop Art, Silver Clouds, es probablemente una de las mejores que se ha hecho en la historia del arte moderno.

Lets start with Andy Fuckin' Warhol. His Silver Clouds installation is probably one of the best in modern art history. 

Con tal inspiración, en el '98, Martin Creed hizo la famosa -y varias veces recreada- Half the air in a given space, miles de globos siempre del mismo color... muy divertida e interactiva.

With such an ispiration, Martin Creed did his world wide famous - several times re-created - Half the air in a given space, using always a thousand one-color ballons. Very smart, fun and interactive. 

Años después vino el alemán Willian Forsythe con Scattered Crowd (mi favorita), con miles de globos blancos y transparentes, quien buscaba reflejar el concepto de la decisión humana (o ¿indecisión?), así que dejó libre al espectador para que maniobrara a su gusto.

Years later, the german Willian Forsythe created Scattered Crowd, my favorite. Using tons of white balloons. Exploring human decision, he decided to let the visitors maneuver through the piece. 

Choi Jeong Hwa también creó Life/Life, con 10,000 globos de colores para Gallery Central de Australia. Una hermosa instalación.

Hablando de subastas, éste documental es un must. La historia de Yves Saint Laurent contada por el amor de su vida, Pierre Bergé. L'amour fou. Claro, me la pasé llorando.

Speaking of which, this documentary is a must! It goes back to Yves Saint Laurent's life through this lifetime partner, Pierre Bergé. L'amour fou. Of couse I was crying the whole time.

Happy Spring-Summer 2014 París Haute Couture!!!!

Deeeeefinitivamente mi semana favorita del año. Bendita sea la alta costura.

Del 19 al 24 de Enero, arrancan las pasarelas de ensueño, empezando por el runway show de Atelier Versace anoche, en la fabulosa Ville-Lumière, París.

Con Lady Gaga, Mario Testino, y Franca Sozzani, en primera fila, Dontatella nos presentó una paleta de colores un tanto pasteles, mezclando jersey hoods con vestidos largos y vaporosos, muy chic, y muy a lo Grace Jones.

Jamás ha habido duda que la hermana menor de Gianni sabe usar las mejores siluetas cónicas para resaltar las curvas femeninas, y ésta vez no fue la excepción.

From January 19th to the 24th, the fantasy runways begin to glam, starting yesterday with Atelier Versace's runway show in the fabulous Ville-Lumière, Paris.

With front row presence of Lady Gaga, Mario Testino, and Franca Sozzani,  Donatella presented a pastel palette, mixing jersey hoods with vaporous long dresses. Very chic, and so Grace Jones.

There's never been doubt that Gianni's little sis knows how to use tapered silouhettes to emphasize the woman figure, and this time was no exception.

Para el día de hoy, están programados Schiaparelli, On Aura Tout Vu, Christian Dior, Giambattista Valli, y Alexis Mabille.

En lo personal, la nueva colección de alta costura de Schiaparelli se me hizo de lo más innovadora. Estoy en shock. De eso se trata la alta costura - alterar al público.

Por cierto, pasado mañana es la subasta en Christie's Paris de los objetos personales y prendas de la eterna rival de Coco Chanel, por su nieta Marisa Shciaparelli Berenson. El viernes les hago saber el valor total de sus pertenencias.

Personally, I think Schiaparelli's collection is beyond innovative. I'm in shock, and that's what haute couture is all about. 

By the way, Christie's Paris is having a fab auction of Coco Chanel's eternal rival, by her granddaughter Marisa Schiaparelli Berenson, on the 23rd. I'll let you know the total worth of her personal objects on Friday.
